It was a successful yet unusual calendar contest this year. We have two co-winners of different species: Jet, a beautiful, playful dog who went from a foster to family dog, and Bettina, a bovine friend who adopted the Humane Society of St. Thomas as her home! Jet and Bettina had 2,125 votes each. They will share the cover of the 2027 calendar and each will get featured for a month of their choice.
The next twelve top vote-getters will each be featured as one of our monthly calendar stars, and all other entered pets will appear on a special collage page.
Overall, we had 41 entries. We are grateful for those who entered their pets, and the amazing community of voters who raised nearly $20,000 to support the animals at the Humane Society of St. Thomas.
We are also grateful to our sponsor, West Indies Company, to Don Hebert Photography for taking the cover photo of the winner, and to all of our supporters whose generosity makes our lifesaving work possible.
