A gift of love that will last forever
It was a truly special day at the Humane Society of St. Thomas on March 27, as we had the incredible honor of welcoming Miss Rosary Harper for the official ribbon cutting of Amie’s Unleashed Lounge.
Miss Rosary made the beautiful decision to give a gift… but not just any gift. She wanted to give something she could experience — something where she could see, feel, and share in the joy it brings to others. And that’s exactly what she’s done.
Through her generosity, a stunning pavilion now stands proudly in our dog park — a place filled daily with laughter, wagging tails, and the kind of moments that remind us why we do what we do.
At the ribbon cutting, we gathered with volunteers, our board president, and members of our community to celebrate and thank Miss Rosary for this incredible contribution. It was a moment full of gratitude, connection, and love.
If you drive up to the shelter, just look to the left… you’ll likely see volunteers and our coconut retrievers relaxing in the shade, enjoying the Caribbean breeze, sharing stories, snapping photos, and simply being together.
This pavilion is already so much more than just a structure — it’s a gathering place, a future event space, and a true heart of our dog park. A place where memories will be made for years to come.
We are so grateful to Miss Rosary for this beautiful gift. Your kindness will live on in every tail wag, every laugh, and every life touched here at HSSTT.
